Care Of the Elderly

We have worked with several different agencies since our establishment in Dublin and found 24 Care Services to be excellent.

They offer us excellent services in all areas of our requirements including senior care staff and care assistants. Their out of hour's service is superb and they are efficient. We had an incident when we had to send a staff member home sick, we contacted the agency at 11:30pm and they had a replacement working within one hour. Their office staff are spectacular and they are very personal and hands on when dealing with any of our queries and concerns.

They always meet our requirements to a very high standard and go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we are happy with the service being provided to us.
All staff employed by the agency are very professional and are always a pleasure to work and deal with. I would highly recommend this agency to other service users within the healthcare sector. During this time they have provided an extremely efficient and reliable service to our organisation, which also includes 24 hour out of hour's service.

The agency constantly strives to maintain excellent communication links with us in our hospital, holding regular meetings and responding consistently to any issues that may arise. Each and every member of their staff have dealt with us in a professional and pleasant manner at all times. The agency will also on the same phone call request, inform us the names of the available staff to cover the shifts or will get back to us in a very prompt manor.

If they feel that they will not have the staff to cover the shift they will also inform the office promptly. Only on a very rare occasion a late shift request has not been filled as they constantly strive to fill all our requests.

All candidates supplied are equipped with mandatory training and are of sound calibre, possessing an adequate amount of experience to enable them to adapt to any clinical area in the hospital. We have been receiving many of the same candidates on a regular basis, which greatly enhances the standard of care they are able to provide. The agency always endeavours to match the most suitable candidate to the shift request and clinical area needs.

Nursing Home Care Of the Elderly

I wish to confirm that we have used the services of 24 Hour Care Services over the past few months.

We are a 59 bedded Nursing Home and use the services of 24 Hour Care Services for Staff Nurse and Care Staff Cover. As we may only know at short notice that we require cover it is very important that we trust that the agency understands our needs and acts quickly. We have found this to be the case with the staff at 24 Hour Care Services.

We have phoned to them at all hours of the day and night and have found that our staff shortage was filled within a short time limit.

The staff that they have sent to us have been punctual, hardworking, courteous and understanding to our residents. I feel that 24 Hour Care Services have put our Nursing Home needs first and I would highly recommend them to other Nursing Homes.

We have used 24 Hour Care Services since they started in business.

The nurse managers and I have a very high regard for the company. The business started at a very difficult time in the health sector.

From day one we have received a wonderful service from Denise and her staff. They are always pleasant and accommodating. We have built up a very good working relationship with all the staff. They are very efficient. All requests whether they are planned hours or those phoned in at very short notice have been filled. This is very unusual for an agency. Staff are always available even out of hours when they carry a phone.

We have very specific requests due to the nature of our service users and all the staff at 24 Hour Care Service do their utmost to accommodate us.
On the rare occasion where we had to address an issue in relation to a staff this has been taken on board and addressed in a professional manner.
I have no hesitation in recommending this agency for the highest award available.
Without them we would be struggling to provide a service to our clients with an intellectual disability who lives in houses in the community.
